Course Contents Semester Course number: ed 121 Course Title: Teacher and Teaching Profession (Compulsory) Hours: 2 hours per week Class and Semester: - First Class / Second Semester Course Description: This course deals with the teaching profession, its standards, the teacher's status and its roles in reality and in the future Course Objectives: The course aims to achieve the following objectives: 1 - enlightening the student factors affecting the profession of education 2- To introduce the student to the qualifications of the education profession and the quality of its performance 3. Student analysis of the historical development of the teaching profession 4 - Develop the student's ability to recognize the status of the work of the teacher 5 - Enable the student from the role of the teacher and his responsibility 6 - Formation of positive attitudes of the student towards the profession of education 7- Student analysis of the current situation of the Egyptian teacher and his problems 8- To enlighten the student about the future of the teaching profession 9 - Determine the student for his role as a member of the union
