Master Abstract

Effectiveness of using some active learning strategies in teaching science to develop some life skills and scientific attitudes among junior high school students       The present study aimed in general to identify the effectiveness of the use of certain active learning strategies in teaching science to develop some life skills and scientific trends for Second Prep students. In order to verify this goal. The preparation of the study of test tools attitudes and life skills, and scale scientific trends, and material experimental treatment (units Massagtan according to some active learning strategies), then adjust those tools in the light of the views of a group of gentlemen arbitrators in the area of ??curriculum and methods of teaching science, and psychology, as was selected study sample (140) male and female pupils at random from among the second grade middle school students, has been divided into two groups, one experimental (70 pupils and pupil) studied according to some active learning strategies, and the other officer (70 pupils and pupil) studied the traditional way. Applying the experience of the study, data analysis and the use of appropriate statistical methods, the study found:  The presence of statistical differences between the average grades of the experimental group and the control group in grades dimensional application to test the attitudes and life skills for the benefit of students of the experimental group.  The presence of statistical differences between the average grades of the experimental group and the control group in grades dimensional application to scale scientific trends for the benefit of students of the experimental group.        The study of these findings are consistent with what illustrated educational literature and proved previous studies on the role and effectiveness of active learning strategies in the implementation and education science education topics with students of different grades; therefore the study made many recommendations and suggestions related to the subject and scope of the variables of the study.
