Holding an Awareness Seminar Titled “Cyberbullying… Awareness Protects, and a Nation Builds”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Education organized an awareness seminar titled “Cyberbullying… Awareness Protects, and a Nation Builds.” The seminar was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Osama Mahmoud Qarni, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahnassawy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Hadeel Hussein Farag, Assistant Professor of Mental Health.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that this seminar comes as part of the university’s commitment to taking steps toward a more aware and secure future for its students, especially amid rapid technological advancement and the growing emotional and social gaps among youth. He emphasized that the university is working to build student awareness and protect them from digital risks through continuous education and awareness activities aimed at enhancing their digital literacy, enabling them to confront cyberbullying in the correct ways, and developing their social and digital interaction skills safely—contributing to the formation of a conscious generation capable of protecting itself and its community.

The seminar witnessed strong student participation, with attendees showing great engagement through questions and discussions. This reflects their interest in the social and psychological issues related to the digital environment and affirms the university’s success in integrating educational and awareness components into its student programs.
