The Faculty of Education hosted an inspiring awareness seminar entitled *“Your Mental Health in the Digital Age.”* The session was delivered by Dr. Yasmin Salah, Lecturer of Mental Health and Student Activities Coordinator, who engaged the audience with stimulating insights on maintaining psychological balance amid the fast-paced revolution in technology and communication.

The seminar served as a beacon of awareness, a human message, and a source of hope for all those striving for balanced mental well-being in an ever-changing world.

Professor Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, stressed that addressing such a vital topic is not merely an academic duty, but also a national responsibility aimed at raising awareness and building a community that is mentally and emotionally healthy. In today’s digital age, we take pride in the great achievements our nation has accomplished in various fields, yet we must not overlook the potential negative effects of digital openness. We live in a world of competing voices and overlapping information that can impact our mental health and place us under unfamiliar pressures.

Professor Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, highlighted that as leaders and educators, we bear a great responsibility to support our own mental health as well as that of others. We must set an example, showing that talking about mental health is not a weakness, but a strength. Let us encourage each other to share experiences, open our hearts to offer help, and be sources of support to those around us.

Professor Osama Mahmoud Qarni, Dean of the Faculty of Education, emphasized that love for our homeland drives us to work towards a society that values mental health as an integral part of human vitality. We should harness technology as a tool to raise awareness, provide resources, and offer support, working together to create a safe and healthy environment where students and faculty feel comfortable expressing their feelings.

Professor Ahmed Fekry Bahnassawy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, noted that this seminar marks the beginning of a new path that blends knowledge, emotion, and community contribution. We must make mental health a priority, transforming ourselves from mere consumers of digital information into creators and initiators who drive positive change.

A heartfelt salute to everyone who contributed to this success, and to all who believe in the university’s mission of serving humanity and the community.

Together towards a more aware tomorrow, stronger mental health, and a united and inspiring university community.
