Effectiveness of a Program Involving Folk Tales in Acquiring Some Cultural Values for a Child of

Research Abstract

Summery of the Study Name of the researcher : Zeinab Arafat Goda Bahnasawy The title of the research : Effectiveness of a Program Involving Folk Tales in Acquiring Some Cultural Values for a Child of Kindergarten . The Scientific Degree : Master Degree in Education "Kindergarten" The location of the research : Faculty of Kindergarten "Cairo University" The summery : This research aims at acquiring some cultural values "moral , social , and ideological " to the child of kindergarten through a program of folk tales. The researcher used the analytical method and the experimental method. The sample of the research included 60 children divided into two groups ; the experimental group and the control group. The researcher used a test of drawing man "Good Enough Harris" and the form of the cultural social standard prepared by Fayza Yousef the form of analyzing the story prepared by Kamal Eldeen Hussein , the picture measurement of cultural values prepared by the researcher. The results have shown the effectiveness of a program of folk tales in acquiring some cultural values for the child of kindergarten.
