Research Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the research is to develop mechanisms for using the distributed leadership for developing intellectual capital in general secondary schools in Egypt through a presentation of the concept of distributed leadership in educational institutions in terms of its development, the importance of its application in educational institutions and their justifications, And the analysis of theoretical foundations related to intellectual capital in terms of importance, dimensions (human- structural- customers), and how to build and develop it in educational institutions, By using the descriptive approach, to show the reality of leadership practices distributed in the development of intellectual capital In the general secondary schools in Beni Suef governorate, that taught by Arabic, where a questionnaire was applied to the first teachers in the general schools in Beni Suef Governorate, which is taught in Arabic, and by number of 70 schools distributed in seven centers in the governorate. The research has led to the develop mechanisms for using distributed leadership in the development of intellectual capital in general secondary schools in Egypt in its three dimensions. The dimension of human capital can be developed through identifying the needs of leading teachers, implementing professional development programs for teachers, providing material and moral incentives for teachers who participate in school administration, Structural capital can be developed by changing traditional school structures to become less centralized and more supportive for leadership practices related to participation, cooperation and teamwork, and to change laws and regulations governing school work, Enabled the head of customer capital development school by activating the partnership between the public high school administration and parents of students, and for the culture of cooperation between the school members through daily contact between the manager and teachers and students, and expanding the use of the official administrative mandate. key words  Distributed Leadership.  Intellectual Capital.
