Abstract of research
Research objective: The research aimed to develop persuasive essay writing skills among students of the Journalism Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication using a program based on text grammar standards.
Research tool: The researcher prepared a persuasive essay writing skills test.
Research sample: The research sample consisted of (32) male and female students from the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Mass Communication - Beni Suef University.
Research Methodology: The researcher followed the experimental method with one group.

- The effectiveness of the proposed program based on text grammar criteria in developing persuasive essay writing skills.
Most important recommendations:
- Adoption of the proposed program in the grammar of the text; To develop persuasive essay writing skills among students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, especially students of the Journalism Department.
- Benefiting from the various teaching strategies that have been relied upon in the programme; To develop persuasive writing skills for students with majors that require these skills.
- Activating the role of text grammar and its standards in developing other language skills: such as reading, speaking, and listening.
